Our 2-Day Fast Track Reflexology Course in Bristol provides accredited practical training for qualified massage, holistic and beauty therapists and nurses who want to add professional reflexology treatments to their existing skills.

Held at The Treatment Studios in Chew Magna, Bristol, the course combines theory, tutor demonstrations and hands-on practice. You will learn how to carry out professional reflexology treatments on the feet, master techniques including pressure points and thumb walking, and explore the benefits reflexology can offer for your clients’ wellbeing and relaxation.

On successful completion of the course, you will receive an ABT-accredited certificate.

Our fast track reflexology training is designed for people who already have relevant professional experience or qualifications and would like to add reflexology to the treatments they offer.

You will need an Anatomy & Physiology qualification to complete the training. If you do not already hold an appropriate Anatomy & Physiology qualification, you will be required to complete home study supplied by Bristol Beauty School.

What Happens During the 2-Day Reflexology Course?

Day 1 – Theory, Demonstrations and Practical Training

The first day combines the theory behind reflexology with tutor demonstrations and guided practical training.

You will begin learning the key techniques used in reflexology treatments, including pressure points and thumb walking, before putting these skills into practice with other students.

With a maximum of four students on the course, there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and receive individual guidance from your tutor as you develop your technique.

Day 2 – Practical Reflexology Treatments

The second day focuses on developing your practical skills and confidence.

You will continue practising with other students before progressing to carrying out reflexology treatments on models under tutor guidance.

This practical approach allows you to put the techniques you have learnt into practice and develop the confidence needed to offer reflexology treatments to clients.

Reflexology Course Accreditation

This Reflexology Training Course is accredited by the Association of Beauty Therapists (ABT).

On successful completion of the course, you will receive an accredited certificate.

Subject to the requirements of your chosen insurer and any applicable professional requirements, your training can enable you to obtain the appropriate insurance to offer reflexology treatments professionally.

What will I learn on the reflexology course?

You will learn the theory and practical techniques required to carry out reflexology treatments on the feet. Training includes client consultation, contraindications, hygiene and safety, pressure points, thumb walking, practical treatment techniques and aftercare.

Will I get practical experience during the course?

Yes. Practical training is an important part of both days.

On Day 1, students practise the techniques they have learnt on each other. On Day 2, you will continue practising before carrying out treatments on models under tutor guidance.

Can I get insurance after completing the reflexology course?

The course is ABT accredited. On successful completion you will receive an accredited certificate which, subject to your insurer’s requirements and your existing qualifications, can enable you to obtain appropriate professional insurance.

We recommend checking the requirements of your chosen insurer if you have any questions about your individual circumstances.

Can I offer reflexology treatments professionally after completing the course?

Once you have successfully completed the training and have the appropriate qualifications and professional insurance in place, you can add reflexology to the treatments you offer clients.
